Jason Poore is an associate in the Business Litigation, Industrial and Consumer Product Liability and Mass Torts Groups in the Philadelphia office of Lavin O’Neil Ricci Cedrone & DiSipio. He concentrates his practice on medical and medical device litigation, premises liability, pharmaceutical defense and commercial class action defense.
Mr. Poore handles complex medical and medical devise, mass tort, premises, pharmaceutical and commercial class action lawsuits. Within his first year of practicing law, Mr. Poore has argued a motion for summary judgment, conducted a settlement and a pre-trial conference and worked on numerous cases at all stages of litigation.
Mr. Poore earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law, Philadelphia, in 2008. Mr. Poore was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and received the “Best Brief” notation in the 2007 Stern Competition. Mr. Poore was also a member of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review and President of the Temple Law Democrats. He received a graduation award for “Excellence in the Integrated Transactional Law Program” and received the notation of “Outstanding Advocate” for participation in Temple’s Trial Advocacy course. He was also one of five students selected for the Temple Law Students Honors Internship Program, where he interned for the Honorable Idee C. Fox, who is now a Civil Trial Judge in Philadelphia.
He is admitted to practice in the state of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations.
Personal
Mr. Poore is an avid golfer and provides pro bono legal services to the indigent community of Philadelphia though Philadelphia VIP.
